OUR STORY
How We Met
We met at a mutual friend's birthday dinner in June of 2023 in Charleston. After talking all night, Tyler asked for Paris' phone number. They texted, and then started talking on the phone, for the rest of the summer.
We Started Dating
Once Paris was finally back in Charleston at the end of the summer, Tyler asked her to go with him to Sullivan's Island at sunset. They both knew they were in for long distance, but wanted to give it a shot! They are so glad they did.
First Dates
It was a whirlwind first few weeks of dates, Tyler meeting Paris' family & getting to know each other.
Long Distance
Then, Paris left Charleston to move to rural West Alabama to design & then build a home for a family in need as part of her thesis project for her Architecture degree at Auburn University. Tyler continued working his new job in Charleston. Writing letters, FaceTime, & texting became their new normal.
Game Day
Paris took Tyler to his first Auburn game day and made an official Auburn fan out of him!
Holidays
They celebrated their first holidays together, with Tyler joining Paris' family for thanksgiving.
Graduation
Paris graduated from Auburn University and committed to staying in west Alabama to finish building her project.
Summer
Tyler & Paris went back and forth visiting each other, spending days on the boat & beach in Charleston, & traveling to Edisto.
One Year
In August of 2024, Tyler & Paris celebrated one year of dating.
Go Hawks
In the fall, it was Tyler's turn to take Paris to a game: they went to the Seahawks vs Falcons game in Atlanta. Tyler made a Seahawks fan out of Paris!
Holidays
They celebrated Thanksgiving & New Years together with family and friends.
He Popped the Question
Then on March 15, 2025 Tyler asked Paris to marry him & she said yes!!! They can't wait for y'all to join them in celebrating their wedding in March of 2026!
